Worldcoin (WLD) is a token in the World ecosystem, which also includes World ID and World Chain.
What is Worldcoin?
World develops tools for proving that someone is a unique human and for using applications and digital assets. WLD is its ecosystem token. The token originates on Ethereum and is bridged to World Chain. Holding WLD is separate from obtaining a World ID, and does not itself prove a person’s identity.
Identity verification and biometrics raise privacy and consent considerations. Token eligibility and services vary by location and other rules. WLD ownership does not guarantee access, privacy, income, or company ownership.
