What is Gram (formerly Toncoin)?
The Open Network, usually shortened to TON, supports payments, smart contracts, and applications, including services connected to Telegram. Its native coin was renamed from Toncoin to Gram in June 2026. The blockchain remains The Open Network; the network name and the coin’s current name are different.
A familiar messaging app does not make every linked wallet, bot, or token trustworthy. Names and display tickers may differ across services. Application, custody, network, and market risks remain.
