What is Helium?
Helium hotspots provide connectivity for small connected devices and mobile traffic. Operators can receive HNT for their contribution. Wireless data usage is paid with Data Credits derived from HNT. Helium’s token infrastructure now uses Solana.
Coverage and rewards depend on location, demand, equipment, and network rules. Owning HNT alone does not provide wireless service or guarantee hotspot earnings.

Origins & development
