Hedera HBAR

Shared records and digital assets.

Hedera is a public distributed ledger for applications, tokens, and shared records. HBAR is its native coin.

What is Hedera?

Hedera uses hashgraph technology to agree on the order of transactions. Its services include token creation, smart contracts, and timestamped records. HBAR pays network fees, and a council has a role in governing the network.

An application’s claims are separate from the network’s capabilities. Council membership does not guarantee an application or the value of HBAR.
