Celestia TIA

Data availability for other blockchains.

Celestia helps other blockchains publish data that participants can check. TIA pays for this data service.

What is Celestia?

Celestia provides a data-availability layer that other blockchains can use. Developers pay fees in TIA to publish data; TIA also has a role in securing the network.

Data availability does not guarantee that an application is secure, that data will be stored forever, or that token prices will rise.

Why people pay attention

  • A specialized role

Data availability is separated from application execution.

  • Network use

Developers pay to publish data using TIA.

  • Published documentation

The project explains the token’s network roles.
